Adam is a 12-year veteran of the Air Force and Operation Iraqi Freedom. A graduate of the Air Force Security Forces – Phoenix Raven program, Adam is also a member of his unit’s Phoenix Raven Team. As a Raven, Adam is dedicated to providing security for Air Mobility Command (AMC) aircrafts. Adam is a specially trained and equipped Security Forces personnel that deploys as a aircrew member on AMC missions as designated by the AMC Threat Working Group. The Raven teams help detect, deter and counter threats to AMC aircraft and guest dignitaries by performing close-in aircraft security; advising aircrews on force protection measures; and conducting airfield assessments.
Aside from being a Phoenix Raven, Adam has risen through the enlisted ranks becoming a Squad Leader and Security Forces Flight Sergeant. Following the path of his military career, Adam is an active Police Officer and operator on a regional SWAT Team. With nearly 20 years of military and civilian police experience and special tactics training, Adam enjoys teaching others how to operate within the austere environments he had previously called home.
Adam possesses a passion for firearms. Shooting regularly with his father as a young boy help develop his skills in shooting and weapon maintenance. Adam continues his education in firearms maintenance and building leading to the path of becoming a certified gunsmith. As a certified gunsmith, Adam takes pride in his work and attention to the smallest detail. As a gunsmith, Adam provides the complete gunsmithing services from repairing and refinishing.
Mike aka "Menace" served in the Air Force as a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) with 12 years of military experience and several combat tours. Mike deployed with the 3rd and 7th Special Forces Groups aligned with an A-Team (SFODA), as well as the 101st Airborne. With the knowledge, training, and experience gained from the military, Mike went on to work for a government agency serving in various austere and hostile environments providing protective services, crisis response services, as well as threat assessments. As a contractor, he served in various capacities to include team member, team leader, and site supervisor. Mike also assisted with vetting operators at the U.S. Training Center in Moyock, North Carolina.
Mike was also contracted by the Idaho National Laboratory and Lockheed Martin as a research and development advisor to assist with weapon and equipment development for the Department of Defense.
Mike competed as a collegiate level marksman as part of Illinois State University's Smallbore Rifle team. In 2007 Mike took 3rd place in the individual competition and 1st place as a team. This awarded him the invitation to compete at Camp Perry, Ohio for the distinct Presidents 100 tab.
Mike is currently an active Law Enforcement Officer and serves on the SWAT Team. In addition to these duties, Mike serves as an instructor in Defensive Tactics, Strategies and Tactics/Active Shooter, and is a Master Firearms Instructor and Field Training Officer. He also works at one of Illinois' most respected Police Academies as an Instructor.
